What is the membership fee?

None.  Our individual quarterly donations go 100% directly to charity.

 

What is the time commitment?

1-2 hours per quarter (1 social hour, 1 hour meeting).  We get it, life gets busy so make it when you can, and don't worry if you can't!  Charity nominations will be shared after the meeting and you will have an opportunity to donate following. 

 

How much is the donation?

$100 per quarter for each individual member.  Or you have the option of joining as a group with a friend or 3 and split the donation so you are each contributing $50 or $25.

 

How are the charities selected?

Each member is welcome to bring a charity nomination to each meeting.  We draw 3 to be presented by the members and select a winner by member vote. 

 

What types of charities can be nominated?

Any charity that has been in existence for over 1 year with IRS certified tax free status (501c3).  The organization must benefit our region/community and national charities may be nominated if 100% of the donated funds will be utilized in our region.

 

What if I don't live in Prior Lake?

You are welcome!  Our members are largely residents of Prior Lake and surrounding cities (Savage, Shakopee, Lakeville) so tend to select charities in this area but all are welcome.

Do I have to be a business owner to join?

No.  Our members are women in the community, some work, some don't, some are moms, some aren't, some own businesses, some just need an excuse for a fun night out!
